Neil Smith

My name is Neil Smith. I'm a CGI artist based in Maidenhead, UK

I've been proficient with computer modelling and CAD since my first experience with a BBC Micro and a pen-plotter at school. Things have moved on a pace since then, and I have maintained an interest in the technology as its moved forwards. After an architectural degree education, I worked in the kitchen industry, moving from drawing office to management over 10 years. I had the privilege of working with all types of kitchen furniture and appliance, for some of London's most exclusive homes.

My interest in producing drawings and images never waned though, and early in 2012 I made the decision to strike out on my own. It was natural, given my depth of experience, to specialise in the kitchen sector.
